HPC Mission

Our mission at HPC is simple. We want to create independence. We want to provide products and services that encourage independent sustainable living. We want to drop a unit or equipment on your land, and you can build a sustainable lifestyle. We don’t want you to need us in 2 years. We want you to grow your own food, run off your own power system, and manage your own independent sustainable lifestyle. We just want to provide the early tools to set up this lifestyle.

When most people think of independence, they think of being independent of others. However, true independence is so much more than that. To be truly independent means to be self-sufficient and sustainable. It means being in control of your own life and not relying on anyone or anything else to survive. That’s what we at HPC strive for—to provide products and services that allow our customers to live independently.

What Does it Mean to be Independent?
Being independent means different things to different people. For some, it might mean being able to live off the grid, completely disconnected from society. For others, it might simply mean having a well-stocked pantry so that you don’t have to go to the grocery store every time you want to make a meal. No matter what it means to you, a few key principles are essential for achieving independence.

Self-sufficiency
The first step to being independent is becoming self-sufficient. This means having the ability to meet your own needs without relying on anyone or anything else. Of course, nobody is 100% self-sufficient—we all rely on others for some things. But the goal is to become as self-sufficient as possible so that you have control over your own life and can maintain your independence even if the worst should happen.

One way to become more self-sufficient is by growing your own food. Even if you only have a small plot of land, you can grow enough vegetables and fruits to supplement your diet and save money on groceries. And if you have a bit more land, you can raise chickens for eggs or larger animals for meat and milk. There are also many ways to preserve food so that you can enjoy homegrown produce year-round.

Another way to increase your self-sufficiency is by generating your own power. This might mean investing in a solar or wind power system if you’re off the grid. But even if you’re connected to the grid, generating your own power can help reduce your dependence on utility companies and lower your monthly bills. There are many ways to generate power, and the best option for you will depend on factors like the climate where you live and the available space.

Sustainability
In order for independence to be truly achievable, it must also be sustainable. This means finding ways to meet your needs efficiently, and in many cases, this is environmentally friendly. Depleting your own resources will have a negative effect, so your systems will need to have ways of replenishment. Sustainability is about living in harmony with the natural world instead of taking from it without thought for the future.

There are many sustainable methods for growing food, generating power, and managing waste. Sustainable agriculture practices like permaculture help farmers work instead of against nature to produce food with minimal environmental impact. And innovations in renewable energy technologies are making it possible for individuals and businesses to generate power without polluting the air or water.

Recycling and composting programs help recover valuable resources from waste while reducing pollution levels—a win-win for both people and the planet. Implementing sustainability into every aspect of your life is essential for achieving true independence.

Independence isn’t about going completely off the grid or becoming a hippy. Rather, it’s about taking control of your life and being able to sustain yourself no matter what happens. It’s about having the skills and knowledge necessary to care for yourself and those around you. Independence is a state of being self-sufficient and sustainable.
